Scenes and Seens

A photography expert once said that to take perfect pictures you should minimize the amount of sky in your photo. He said everyone knows what the sky looks like, so leave it out. I couldn't disagree more. Ever since I was a young child lying on the grass looking up at the clouds while they arranged themselves as castles, and unicorns, and pirate ships, I have been fascinated with the many variations the sky presents. I particularly love storms, and the way the sky changes so rapidly. And what about rainbows, sunsets, and crepuscular rays? You will see that love reflected in my photography; storms, clouds, and lots of sky, making me break all the rules as usual.
