I saw my first gaspeite at Bead Renaissance in Portland 2003. The strand was a small fortune to me, but I fell in love with the apple green stone and beautiful brown matrix. I hoarded it for a couple of years until gaspeite started showing up more and more. Unfortunately, so have fakes. Beware of the price that seems too good to be true.

This bracelet features those very first hoarded gaspeite beads, delica beaded beads, and precious opal rondelles. Gold-filled beads and vermeil spacers and clasp finish it.
