Sydde and I spent October of 2005 in Portland dealing with his father's estate. It was a bittersweet time as he was also reunited with his brother who had been missing for almost 30 years. Our days were filled with both laughter and rain. I didn't have time for any beading, but wanted to create a project to remind me of those days. I chose the gray pearls and blue-gray Czech glass to reflect the gray rain, and the gold infused coral sticks to remind me of the reunion between Sydde and his brother. I used a Fibronaci stringing sequence. The blue agate stone clasp was a lucky find and was a perfect finish.
