Lake Okanagon

One year Sydde and I went up to Lake Okanagon, British Columbia to see if we could spot Ogopogo, who is Canada's version of Nessie. While we traveled, I worked on this free pattern I found on the Internet. Unfortunately I cannot recall where or to whom to give credit. Wearing this bag reminds me of our wonderful trip, so I call it Lake Okanagon. We didn't spot Ogopogo, but I found a wonderful little jade Ogopogo charm at a rock shop, where the elderly Austrian proprietor fascinated us for hours with his stories of escaping from the Nazi concentration camp, and fighting the war. He told us that in war, it is brains, not brawn that will save your life. Inside the bag I put a Canadian penny and pretty pebble, both of which I found along the shores of Lake Okanagon.
